@supercliff5634 it's not a big lake so you can cover the whole lake if you have to. But I always did good right in front of the Lodge just past the bouy. Good luck! You probably will see alot of boats jigging for Kokanee also.

Yes you can use two rods with the two rod endorsement. Kokanee is the best tasting freshwater fish you can catch in my opinion. Even the small ones are worth keeping and eating. Stampede has been fishing well lately. They are averaging like 11 to 12 inches but it's still so fun.

The cool thing about Kokanee fishing is that you don't have to move very fast. You just need to troll at 1-1.5 mph, you can easily paddle this. If you don't have any Kokanee gear just start with a 2" pink Hoochie tipped with a piece of corn on each hook. And use a dodger about 12" away from the lure. Also, I have seen a bunch of boats jigging for kokanee with a kastmaster lure.

Another thing to look at is the eye color and the spots below the lateral line. If it has red eyes and neat rows of small spots below the lateral line then it is a spotted bass. Hope this helps

My go to is the Thomas Boyant. But I’ll give the criplure a try again. It’s in the JV tackle box. I’ll put it on the varsity box for a bit and see how well it works.
